Does anyone know where I would be able to rent a debs dress for around 150 euro? :D

You should be able to buy a lovely one for that!
Try Covet in Powerscourt if you want to rent one though. They will have something within that price range.
There's a crowd in Malahide too, can't think of their name...might show up on google.

Cari's closet is the rental place in Malahide. Just thought of it.
For €150 you should maybe look at buying one in somewhere like Fran & Jane. They keep a register of people from each school who have bought the debs dresses so you can be guaranteed you won't turn up with the same dress as anyone else!

There's a a place called the Dress Pantry in Ashtown, I havent been in there but the dresses on their facebook page look nice. I'm too old to know if they are suitable for a debs though!

I got one made and it was only €150 so that's another option to keep in mind :-)

Sales can be good :) Also there are some pretty nice dresses around for 150-200 euro, most people assume debs dresses are 300+ euro but there are loads out there for less

Would love some recommendations for the Dublin area. My DDs debs is this year and we have had some disasters buying dresses online previously so I'd rather spend the extra 50 or so buying something she could try on in advance. She's looking for something simple, maybe chiffon/georgette, definitely one colour and I'm trying to keep it under €250. Fran & Jane had lovely dresses previously but are getting out the market because they said that fewer schools are running debs. M**ion Gale are ridiculously expensive. Would go to Wicklow/Kildare/ actually basically anywhere to get something nice! Would welcome recommendations

Kasura in Ashbourne have beautiful dresses for debs at the minute. They are on the new main street and definitely worth a look!

what are their prices like? My dd has just been invited to another debs. we have her dress but the other debs in on the night before and we now have to get a second one ... on a real tight budget here!

Kasura's prices range from €40 (sale stock) up to maybe €250. That's a pretty rough estimate but got a dress I absolutely love for a wedding in July for €125 and tried on at least 8/9 in that price range and all were lovely!! Can't recommend the staff highly enough, very helpful and will make selections for you also based on price and style you are after.
