    Hi,

Was really looking forward to getting out this weekend.

Do you think anywhere will be open tomorrow?

Our course is fairly soggy as it is, so i'd say it will be closed. There's always the driving range i suppose.

Where's that? Maybe there should be an additional column added to the boards handicap list to include each player's home course as there's alot of posts assuming everyone knows the club in question.

To answer your question however I'd say all the links courses will be open over the weekend provided we don't get a blanketing of snow as well as all the rain.

I'd say there will be a lot of closures over the next week - the weather is promised very cold and frost most nights. Bugger.

I had a lovely round in Blessington Lakes today. The course was in very good condition with no surface water. My golf shoes were as clean finishing as they were starting. The backdrop of the snow covered mountains just added to the enjoyment of the game.

Played Tulfarris Saturday and it was in good condition as well and remarkably dry considering the amount of rain that had fallen. Lisheen Springs was closed and had lots of low lying areas with water visible around the course.

Druids Heath open yesterday and today. A few soggy patches but perfectly playable! Greens super!
