Casa Nostra, Mount Kenneth Place (just off Henry St.)

Went there before Christmas with work crowd and have been back since. Really good Italian. For c. €25 you should get two courses easily, although they do a better deal at lunchtime and an early-bird offer.

    Great food and friendly staff.

Cornstore is always nice but it's €26 a head. They do the best cocktails in town too and are very central if you are staying out for the night.

Just in front of Cornstore on Thomas St, you have Bella Italia, which have good Italian style food and nice desserts. It looks a bit like a takeaway from outside (they do takeaway), but hidden inside is a real restaurant :-)

For group of ladies I definitely recommend the glasshouse. Gorgeous
    Marco Polo setting is fab
Copper and spice (Town or annacotty) Thai Gourmet, or Lebanese place Mejana for something different

If you would like something more casual The Highway in Dooradoyle do gorgeous 3 course for 18.95

    Enjoy! Wherever ye end up

Used to go here a lot but find them far too expensive for pasta tbh. Food is nice but way overpriced imo.

My folks were recently in the place that used to be Luigi Malones below the Jasmin, 2 courses + 2 brandy's for €30, before 5pm, they thought it was great & they are fussy buggers

All nice bar Marco Polo, have sent meals back twice there and wouldn't go near it again.
