Saturday lunch in Mullingar

Wife and I stopping in Mullingar on Saturday for lunch on the way to Leitrim. Anybody recommend a really nice place please. If not in Mullingar, Longford is OK too. Or anywhere in between. Nice one please. Price is not a consideration.

Red Earth in the Ind Estate is pretty good too. In fact very good!

+1 for brioche, mount st - good food, nice, small but cosy place.

Also depends what kind of restaurant - there is very little for lunch that would be 'fine dining' ... if you like buffet style, the Park Hotel is a good one (not my thing, but I've found it better than average).
