Saw one of these being test driven recently they obviously wanted to improve handling and have reduced centre of gravity by making it smaller looks too similar in size to sport and not as imposing / high off ground aside from that I see that dealers are advertising them for €157k and that's only for v6 dsl what would v8 dsl be ? ! Far to dear compared to disco and rr sport td v6 ! The 2011 rr vogue 4.4 tdv8 at beshoff motors for just under € 90k seems a bargain compared to the new rr vogue td v6 !

From what I have read it's a completely different animal to the previous RR. Weight savings are sizable meaning the lower powered diesel comes close on the old V8 diesel. But to be fair, if you're lucky enough to be in a position to spend that much on a car I doubt the price of a similar 2 year old makes much of a difference.

    €157k ?

Ex. works of the New RR TDV6 Vogue is €135,075. Entry model is €119,355 and the Autobiography is €153,335.

SDV8 4.4 Vogue is €151,295 and the Autobiography verison is €170,050.

My LandRover dealer was at the launch late last year, and I spoke to one of the other guys as he was bringing one in to the dealership a few weeks ago. Apparently it is fantastic.

Totally new model with nothing in common with the old L322. Some 400kg lighter with an aluminium chassis, supposedly capable of 40mpg!

Don't like the Evoqueish rear end or the fake gills in the doors but it will still be the benchmark for luxury 4x4s.

Trouble is here you are paying roughly €30k on the UK list price in VRT:eek:

Wonder how long before someone asks if there's a commercial version (which LR will never make)

I think that most of the early models availabe are very high spec... expect to sell around 50 in Ireland this year so there is still some money out there..

Iv heard that the quality of the car (fixtures & Fittings and overall interior quality) is rivaling Bentley. Thats a hell of a statement I know but if they are charging that much it would want to be that good.

D'oh ... just spotted this thread.

I saw one a couple of days ago and was not all the impressed. I suppose once you are driving it, it's probably fantastic .... outside, not so much.

Thats an eye watering price! Who would spend that kind of money on a machine? I doubt that type would have much interest in engineering and more in ego.
Its actually a large monstrosity similar to the Audi Q7.
