    Any idea why amazon wont let me ship this item to Ireland?

    They have many restrictions, and being legit they usually also follow the wishes of the companies they sell for, so apple might want to charge more in different territories. Parcel motel may be an option.

    I bought one from Amazon yesterday.

    There is more than one seller selling the Macbooks - you should see a link for "25 new" etc. Just click on it and you will see the list of sellers and if they ship internationally.

    For example the one I bought only had 4 sellers that would ship internationally - Amazon, 2 x Fulfilled by Amazon dealers and one private.

    Was yours 2nd hand? I've never bought anything from Amazon before, I want to get one brand new I just selected the main one at the top.

    Nope its brand new and 99% of them are brand new to be honest. There are 2sections for this anyway....new & used. There were 25 new macbooks and 1 used when I was purchasing yesterday.

    What model are you looking at getting?

    Make sure you buy one that says UK model as some of them are selling US models.

    Ok grand thanks for the help, i had a quick look there and the few I've chosen still wont deliver to IRL, maybe I might have my address entered in wrong in my a/c settings. I'll have another proper look later on. Im getting the cheapest model.
