Ryanair Cabin bag only Malaga - question

    Appologies if this has been asked before but I am infrequent flyer , travelling to Malaga with Ryanair - only have cabin bag can I go straight to security in Dublin and Malaga provided I have printed boarding pass - I am hoping I don't have to check in ?

    Yes. You must check in online with Ryanair anyway..so once you have your boarding pass, single piece of hand luggage and an EU passport you can go directly to security and onwards to your gate.

    Just a word of warning as regards Ryan Air at Malaga airport, make sure your carry on meets the size & weight spec, they are enthusiastic beyond belief there and will happily enforce the extra charges even if you are only slightly over the weight allowed

    Thanks I wass hoping thts how it was with Ryanair ( friend of mine flew with Aer Lingus to Malage fine at Dublin but ahd to check in at Malaga for some reason ) , thanks Naughsmurf for the warning - have to get a hand luggage scales

    With Ryanair you can check in 15 days in advance, whereas Aer Lingus you can only check in 30 hours before your flight.

    Therefore, if you go away for a week, you can print outbound and return boarding passes with Ryanair, but not Aer Lingus.
