If you're going to ask for it to be shipped to Ireland I suspect the Apple US site will reject the order and tell you to go to the apple.ie store.

It will have to be shipped to a US address so unless you know someone living there it is going to be very hard to get them to Ireland and then you are talking about paying VAT on it when it comes into the country which will bring it up to the normal cost of buying off apple.ie

It has to be shipped to the US, and sometimes Apple pick up that the purchase is being made with a foreign credit card and block it.

Best option is to get a friend in the US to buy it, then ship to you.

I want to buy unlocked iphone from US apple store(649$)

Is it possible? Which processes should i follow to buy it?

    Thanks in advance!

FYI, you will be subject to sales tax too (in addition to the $649), unless you buy it in New Hampshire where consumer electronics are not subject to sales tax.

You can't buy from the Apple US site and have it delivered outside the USA. The site won't accept it. For example if someone in the US wanted to buy a gift for someone in Ireland, they would have to use the Irish Apple site. Its weird but its how Apple 'locks down' territory's.

As previously said, you can get it delivered to an address in the US. However be aware of sales tax. Unless the exchange rate and tax are favourable, by the time you ship it (And potentially pay customs), you won't save much. Saying that, you have €200 of lee-way on the Irish price, so you might save something.

    NYC Sales Tax = ~9%
Customs charge 23% of purchase price
An Post charge €6 handling fee on top of the customs charge.

Fresh in the head as my mam had to pay it today on another item.
