Ok guys, only 342 sleeps till Christmas.. Need to get organised!

Was in Liffey valley tonight and in M&S they have loads of Chrimbo wrapping paper reduced from €4.75 to €1 and cards reduced too... Various prices down to as low as 50c I saw.

Also some other small trinkets didnt look at them all.

Bang them in the attic till December!

Last day of sale tomorrow afaik, so perhaps prices will be slashed even further.

Don't hold your breath - I talking was with an assistant at M&S as their prices are still very high & they are no longer giving refunds (it was handy as I buy my mums clothes & need to be able to return if she doesn't like). The discounts were generally between 20% & 50% off & a small few up to 75%.

The assistant said the management weren't going to go to really low prices as there were killings last time they did it. Apparently Blanchardstown had to call the Gardai last year as a large group went in last year & the men kept other shoppers away while the females cleared the shelves (I wasn't there, it could just be an urban myth!!)
