Just try to relax and have something light about an hour before the training session.A good coach won't let you do a class that your not able for so don't worry about it to much and just throw yourself into the training.
I was in a similar position as you, having jumped straight into the adult class at 16.Im 21 now and from my expirience I can tell you that the earlier you start the faster you will learn so I hope you'll join a club soon.
Good luck and remember that worrying about a situation won't help the situation

You'll realise after your first class that there was nothing to worry about. You will see that you arent the only new guy or young guy or unfit guy.
Yes you will be tired and sore. But if you like watching the sport then you will love doing it. And its addictive. You just want more.

Whether you think you are fit or unfit you are never really prepared for the workout you get. Places will ache the next day you have never felt before. You really just have to pluck up the courage and go for it.

Also... The age difference shouldnt be a problem if its a good club. Its training, not a fight. You'll just be practicing technique more than anything. The level of contact will improve as you do.

    Hey and welcome to MMA.

My recommendations for what they're worth.

On your training days eat light and often, drink plenty of water.

Get your training gear ready early, I find this helps to focus the mind ~ ain't nothing worse than rushing your gear at the last minute... Proper Planning & Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance!..

Finally, keep the forum info'd with your progress :)
