I'm 19 and this is the cheapest car I've come across to insure by myself (€1368). Tax is just over €400. It will be used to drive from Ennis to Galway and back everyday for around 8 months during co-op. Public transport is not an option where I am and I would like to have a car also.

I may age 10 years due to boredom, but it's my first car so I won't mind the lack in power (as long as it can reach 120km/h).

What do you think? I assume a Polo or an Ibiza would be similar (maybe slightly more expensive on insurance) money. What sort of mpg would I be looking at (motorway 80-90% of the time). Is there anything in particular that can go wrong?
