Cateye wireless computer - same as model below. Comes with all mounts and spoke magnet. Reason for sale, been sitting idle since garmin upgrade.

    Price €25

Tacx Antares Rollers - again, same as model below. These were bought on a whim and embarrassingly are sitting idle and have been more or less since purchase. They are as new other than a couple of tyre marks. Reason for sale, on another whim, I bought a spinning bike.

    Price €125

I can post up photos of the actual items later this evening if required, or if you have any questions, just ask.

No idea on weight, and I'd be useless at guessing it, but I'll throw them up on the scales tonight and let you know. I don't have the original box, but I'm sure I could find some cardboard box to put them in.

Actually, I have a friend that may be heading west (Galway) this weekend or next if that would make things any easier.

    Edit: according to web, 8.9kg

    Hi there,

Is the cateye simple to use and reliable? Front wheel or rear wheel for the magnet? I'd like a no nonsence, easy to operate one for the my better half.

Very reliable and absolutely foolproof to use. Displays just the basic information you need as you ride and there's only one button on it to scroll through features (speed, distance, time elapsed, average speed etc) during or after the ride. I had the sensor mounted on front fork so magnet was on front wheel. I think the sensor would be out of range of computer if mounted on rear forks.

I actually got a second of these one for my missus aswell for exactly your reasons. You're welcome to test it out if you want.

Chatting to herself there now but she isn't interested I'm afraid. I'd be interested in the rollers myself actually :) Based in Blanch, I'll make an offer and can collect if Zip decides against it.

    No problem El Director.

I must say the bombi is very temping but I can't really afford it right now. Perhaps in a month or so.
