Lamp connection

    Lads anyone have pictures of how ye connect your lights to batteries? mine has a cigarette lighter connection but it falls out too handy so would like to see how ye do it.

    I ran a Hella Connector from the battery to the dash board and also put one on my battery

    Look through the hunting/tip section for details

    Make off a cigarette lighter connector from your battery with a suitable fused connector, that way you can just plug your lamp in .

    Il send you down a male and female plug with the scope, we use them in work for quick connections on machines they slot into each other and then screw tight ,i have done it on my lamps ,no messing about and it wont pop out.

    Here are the Hella type connectors. best thing about these are they take up to 15amps @12 volts and therefore can carry the current that the lamp takes @8.5amps
    About £3.50 the pair

    i just cut off the lighter part and tie the copper wires onto the battery and i never had a problem
