result for my Berlingo

Made a decat pipe for my 1.6hdi and usually get about 170 kms per 20 euro. First fill after and I got 210 kms. And I haven't been driving it any easier.

Just seems to pull much better and power stays till 4k revs instead of feeling strangled after 3k

And before people argue about amount per 20 euro etc. Price of diesel hasn't changed recently. My usual habit is fill up 20 euro and drive till yellow light comes on and fill up again so differences in amount are small

Sounds like a success but I'd be looking at your pre-decat fuel economy, 170km for €20 by my maths is roughly 30mpg off the top of my head. Doesn't sound great for a 1.6HDi Van to me although maybe you carry heavy weights in the back often?

Its about 36mpg. Between 100-200 kg in the back. All urban driving and iv a heavy foot

I've no idea what a decat is but my 1.6hdi Partner does about 50 - 52 mpg without any problems.

What year. Mines 07. The newer ones are much better

Ya they have the twin scroll turbo and longer gearing. Much better machines
