Advent 7201 Laptop on Windows Vista won't restore

Hi all, I have an Advent 7201 on Windows Vista that needs a full factory restore but no command prompt works, F2 brings me to the usual setup options along with the F12 button, F8 & F10 also do not work, now when the startup screen has disappeared the screen is black with a flashing white line in the top left hand corner…

Hi all,
I have an Advent 7201 on Windows Vista that needs a full factory restore but no command prompt works, F2 brings me to the usual setup options along with the F12 button, F8 & F10 also do not work, now when the startup screen has disappeared the screen is black with a flashing white line in the top left hand corner and it stays like that until the laptop is turned off again.
Any help into how to restore the system would be great.
We also don't have a reboot CD.
All help would be much appreciated.
