    Hey,

was just wondering if anyone could recommend a good lively destination in September for a group of teenagers/early 20s.. We're all on work placement for May/June/July/August so can't holiday then, so early September is our only option really..

Anyone with any good, cheap holiday destinations let me know..

    Thanks a million :)

Oktoberfest in Munich, towards the end of September and early October.

If your into that type of thing, I cannot recommend enough Ibiza. Most of the closing parties take place in September / October. Cheaper flights and accommodation as most of the holiday makers have gone home leaving only the clubbers and island workers. If your into clubbing its not to be missed. Genuinely. They are parties on an epic scale with major acts.

If your not into clubbing, its still an amazing island for just chilling out. 10 mins by car outside the main towns of San Antonio or Ibiza and its heaven. It has a rep as a party island but thats literally three spots on the whole island, the rest is a hidden gem in Europe and well worth seeing.

Yeah we'd definitely be looking for a party spot so Ibiza sounds perfect.. Is it better to leave it late and book it to get it cheaper?

Hard to call. Its an island that see's alot of holiday traffic so the price of flights fluctuates quite abit. However in general its cheaper to book in advance. Hotels are more expensive however around the time of major parties.

The best time for yourselves to book would be around May. You can then have a look at the party calendar (Good site here: http://www.ibiza-spotlight.com/night/club_dates_i.htm) and see what you would like to go to. You don't book Ibiza based on the cheapests flights in my eyes, book it on when the acts you want to see are on. If your not particularly bothered to see a specific act, go for at least a week and I'd recommend travelling midweek so that you get a weekend in Ibiza. That said, parties are 24/7 so any day of the week you'll find something to see or do.

As regards accomodation, I would recommend trying to rent an apartment. There are loads on the island from private individuals and can work out a great deal cheaper. Google 'apartment rentals ibiza' and you'll find loads. Just exercise the usual caution with payment etc.

If you want to stay in a hotel the three best in my opinion are they http://www.ushuaiabeachhotel.com , http://www.ibizarocks.com/hotel/ or http://www.elhotelpacha.com/english/
