Never seen these red wing fences on BA A320 family aircraft before, are they a new feature ?

It's a former bmi plane. They probably just haven't got around to re-doing the winglets yet.

Interesting one. There are 7 of the G-MED_ aircraft configured cabin wise for medium to longhaul operations of which G-MEDM is one. Following this it went Heathrow to Tiblisi then Almaty and back. Since BA got their hands on these aircraft they have been fitted with new business/economy seats and full Thales AVOD.

The new seats/AVOD was actually all ordered and ready to be installed by bmi before the takeover. It wouldn't have made sense to leave them uninstalled and sitting in a hangar.
