3 year savings bonds

I invested money into the 3 year savings bonds in the post office on the 3rd of december 2012 and i have still not received any confirmation letter in the post. Is it normal for it to take this long

I bought bonds on the 27th november - got them yesterday. it takes a while - dont panic

put a decent amount in to a 10 year bond took 5 weeks for my confirmation letter
