For early morning rides on country roads you need something good enough for the conditions.
    This set is not bad.

I bought this set last night
    http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/sp/road-track-bike/lezyne-lezyne-lights-and-lighting-systems-lezyne-macro-drive-front-micro-drive-rear-lightset/lezyligh224
    Cost me €68.
Obviously haven't tried it out yet but the reviews seem to say it should be good enough for dark country roads which I plan on riding too. The big thing for me was getting something USB chargeable.
There are good discounts on all lezyne lights on ribble there. And if you use parcel motel for your first 2 deliveries you won't have to pay postage!

Never realized you could get spare batteries for those moon x power lights not something most of the sites selling them even mention.

Would have given it more consideration if I had known. Prefer the lezynes though as they take standard 18650 cells. Read one report of a high capacity panasonic battery 18650 running for much longer. In their test the lezyne battery on full runs for 1hr 35 or so then kicks down to low and runs for 36mins. Which is similar to what I get. Mine will run on medium for 2hrs 30 and another half or so then on low. With the panasonic it supposedly ran for 1hr 46 then kicked down to low and ran for another 3 hours thats some back up if you end out longer than intended. I must order one to try it out.

You can get these cheaper than that and it is a great investment (I always keep a spare one on my ride).
