Not sure how well this publicised is; I did it last year and thoroughly enjoyed it so recommend it as a good day out. Nice route, well marshalled with showers and loads of hot tea and food afterwards.

I hope the monsoon we had last doesn't appear, some of the puddles were tidal on the back road section .

Not sure what you want to know. Last years route was New Ross to Waterford then along on Dublin Rd towards Kilkenny, then turned right before Kilkenny across some back roads to Bennettsbridge then back to New Ross via Thomastown and Inistoige. Slightly over 100K maybe 105k.

Nice pace with group staying pretty much intact until towards the later part where on the rolling roads the pace went up a bit and the group broke up a bit. I ended up in a group of about 8 other guys and we rolled in together. Well organised IMO with motor bike outriders to keep us safe. As Fondriest says it was pretty wet last year but to be fair that's not something that can be blamed on the organisers; we do live in Northern Europe after all. A decent turn out, I would guess maybe 80 participants on varied abilities so you'll have company all day.

From memory no, the only grub was at the finish so I'll just bringing some grub in my jersey pockets and can nibble as we go along.

Personally I would prefer not to stop and risk getting cold on a spin of this distance.

    Hope this helps.

Great spin today, clear skies, a bit of sunshine & a good turnout. Pace controlled to Waterford, all very calm, nice and leisurely.... Then it all kicked off from there, pace upped a lot, guys hanging on for dear life everywhere (me included!), bodies out the back every time we hit a drag. Really enjoyable spin, a happy medium between sportive and race!
