Three people have been killed as up to one hundred cars and trucks crashed in a huge pile-up on a highway bridge Sweden.
The smash happened on the Tranarps Bridge in Skane, around 50 miles from Helsingborg on the southern tip of the Scandinavian country.
Authorities said there were appalling weather conditions at the time, with snow, fog and temperatures of -13C. Eighteen people are believed to have have been injured.

Thank god for some very well built rails at the side of those bridges

Thank the engineers who designed those very strong barriers, amazing to see what looks so frail stopping juggernauts from toppling over the edge.

    Sweden..eh.

I have read the "Girl with a Dragoon Tatoo" and bridge crashes cover something more sinister.

Both sides of the bridge had pile-ups too. I wonder was one side caused by rubber-necking?

No doubt more footage will emerge in time and give a clearer picture.

Thankfully none of the lorries were hauling something flammable, or if they were, that it didn't explode.
