hi all . i have a 16'' grant back boiler witch works great for me , only problem i have with it is when fire goes out room gets cold rather fast as all the heat goes up chimley . so went ahead and bought a boru fire front door , fitted it last fri by qualified fitter looks smashing . lit my fire on monday , noticed that the wall on the ajacent back room was getting very hot and also wall inside where fire was fitted was getting verry hot , as in could not even put your hand on it as it would burn you . also rads were not as good as they were before i fitted new fire door . i have read up on how to adjust vents and so on so all should b ok on that side . as it stands now i am afraid to light fire as the walls on the chimley are verry hot and the rads are not as good as they were with the fire in the first place with out the new door . ps any sugestions would be greatly appreaciated . many thanks .
