Well they say it's a good way to imagine you're having it done to you as opposed to doing it to yourself. The weirdness would depend on who you're imagining it is.

I've always done so.

Anyway, I don't particularly strive for having it done to me, I much prefer to doing it to someone else

you can dial in a variety of suction strengths and if there are any problems the hoover can be switched off at source.

*i am not a qualified hoover technician so further technical advice is not available
