Just wondering how long on average people are waiting for transfers? is there a way to appeal if you are overlooked for one?

I know with the lack of recruitment things have slowed up but just wondering if everyone is having problems or is it just me

    Realistically, it's only swaps now.

If you want to go somewhere, you need someone from there to replace you.

Or it can become a game of musical chairs with multiple people swapping.

Without a swap, you'll be waiting.......

Long shot here and not for everbody, but if they advertise official accommodation in the bulletin it means nobody in the division wants the station, so it is an option although getting rarer, I know a couple of people got out of the DMR that way

You don't need to be stationed in the s/d where the official accomodation is.

No, people in the division may want it. AFAIK, it has to be advertised nationally. Obviously, a local may have an advantage....
