An aerial can be connected directly to the TV provided it has a Saorview tuner built in otherwise a Saorview STB will be required - http://www.saorview.ie/equipment/.

Depending on your location an indoor aerial might work, depend on Saorview signal strength where you locate the aerial. If it doesn't receive a satisfactory signal an outdoor UHF aerial will be required - http://www.saorview.ie/what-is-saorview/make-the-switch/step-2-check-aerial/.

One For All make good Remotes. Their aerials are about x5 overpriced. If an indoor aerial doesn't work on a TV that can do Saorview, or on a Saorview box you need a Roof Aerial either in the Attic or outside.

If you find a "Digital Aerial" let us know. Aerials don't care if the signal is Analogue or "Digital". There is no such thing as a "Digital" or "HD" aerial.
