Excuse my language but that is totally sh*t.

To match my lycamobile package for which I pay the mighty sum of €5 a month I would have to pay vodafone over €100. LOL. The price they charge for data is crazy and always has been.

I don't get free voda-voda calls (unlimited txt with lyca) but most people I know are leaving them anyway. I switched 2 months ago and haven't had 1 dropped call. Good riddance.

Lyca Mobile is worse than horse meat burgers ;-D

Look if you want the Vodafone network these are great price historically speaking.

left Vodafone 3 years ago due to the better deals out there.

unlimited data is the clincher for me so I'm with 3 and paying €31 a month for classic flex max and got the new note 2 for €70 on upgrade.

I occasionally roam on Vodafone 2g on the rare occasion I have no 3g coverage, thanks Vodafone but I wouldn't touch you with his.

I'm on the €15 plan with Vodafone listed above and although it might not seem to offer as much data etc., one area where they have the edge is €2 a day for 50MB data roaming in Europe - handy for google maps/tripadvisor etc. on holidays. To be honest, that's the only reason I'm staying with them. When the other networks start offering more comprehensive roaming deals, then I'll switch.

With the great deals from tesco mobile and emobile that are around now days vodafone and O2 will really have to get their finger out and realise they are going to start loosing a lot of customers unless they start matching or beating their rivals.

Agreed, this is the only good part about Vodafone, but I work around it by normally being on three and I also have a vodafone pay as you go sim that I swap in when I go abroad for the cheap affordable data roaming.

You can swap your three/emobile/tesco mobile sim into an old phone to still get calls and texts on it.

because the vodafone website was designed and run by an idiot.

silly me, january haze. ive complained many times about it. i wish i wasnt held by ransom by vodafone, but they are the only people who provide sure signal, as i am in a place where there is NO signal at all (and i am just off the m50. beautiful).

I gather i need to go into a shop then?will change from pay as you go to this offer, as its cheaper than topping up by 30 euros every month, for nearly the same thing.

We are on VF for the same reason. We're in a blackspot and the suresignal helps out. The result is that we have our landline, suresignal & mobiles with them. Mrs zag is on the €15 a month package with an extra €10 for, err, calls & data I think. Or is it data & SMS. Something anyway. The net effect is that her bundle costs €25 a month. She never has any extra call charges. We have free VF-VF calls all over the place, so we we have little in the way of charges. My phone is a work one with all calls all over the world (with the possible exception of Inner Mongolia) free anyway.

If someone else had an equivalent suresignal product we could be tempted to move, but until then we're stuck with VF because of the blackspot.

NB - my workplace has recently signed up to provide a VF employee purchase scheme . . . at the crazy, crazy price of €30 a month for what Mrs zag pays €15 a month. I guess if there are people out there who will pay it then VF will keep offering it.

The Vodafone website must be the worst on the plant. You need a degree in it just to navigate it.

How is this a bargain alert??

Their website is terrible and they don't support EDGE on their 2G network in most areas. Also, their coverage was bad where I live and where I work.

That was why I left them last month, getting a much better deal now.

I phoned Tesco Customer Service three times on Sunday to say I could not send text messages. Two of the calls were dropped, which is a regular occurance with Tesco mobile.
Since Sunday I have received two text messages from Tesco to say they are still investigating. Meanwhile I still cannot send texts.
Dropped calls mean I have to phone again, so it means Tesco are making more money! Good scheme.

What's this got to do with Vodafone?

I'm with Tesco and they've been grand so far, no issues here.
