It's been years since I was in Cork Airport and I'm wondering what the multi-storey carpark is like? Are the spaces tight together like most multi storey carparks these days?

I'm travelling with an older family member (who's pretty fragile) so I want to be close by to get her into the car and on the road home as swiftly as possible. Just don't want to be wedged into a space and struggle getting her back into the car.

Ya the spaces are about the same as any multistory car park.
then what i would reccomend doing, is leaving her at the airport by the setdown/pickup spots and you running up to the carpark and driving around , as cork airport is small it would only take you a few mins to drive back around and pick her up.

If you were to walk somone elderly to the carpark it would take a good few minutes on foot.

This is the way i would do it anyway.

That's what I had suggested which didn't go down too well when the rest of the family...

Well thats the best solution IMO.
If they have a better idea perhaps they can go and pick them up.

I've used Cork Airport Parking Service when flying out of Cork, they're based beside the Airport hotel and charge a fiver a day with minibus transfer between the car park and terminal. Your family member should find that option suitable and you will save a few bob as well. I don't have their website address but should be handy enough to find on Google.
