Are there any shops in town that have a decent selection of MFT lenses, old or new?

Or adaptors: OM, FD to MFT etc.

Sometimes get 2nd hands on Conns, also look to have a decent selection (listed on the website at least)

    New:

Preowned (some in there, need a bit of hunting):

Pop up from time to time on adverts also

Was talking to one of the guys in the camera shop on George's St. He said they have 0 interest in m43 as the cameras don't sell .

This seems to be an Irish peculiarity. This market seems to be extremely insular and it seems to be Canikon or nothing. M 4/3 is selling very well everywhere else in the world. This is reflected here in these forums in the lack of M4/3 interest

Elsewhere, like Dpreview forums, the M4/3 group is very active.

It seems price is is still trumping size/weight convenience here handily, while elsewhere the financial constraints are not as severe and there are innumerable anecdotal reports from users of them dumping larger format systems for M4/3, usually for the E-M5.

I'm not that surprised by it really. Canon and Nikon would have much stronger marketing presence (for low end DSLRs around the same price as MFTs), so I suspect a MFT buyer would be a bit more of an enthusiast and then just end up buying theirs online.

Went into Conn's to rent the P14, since my E-PM1 was just the body (£130 delivered from ebay). €50 for 3 days, which I was ok with. But to buy... over €400. I don't think they've realized that price is meant to include the GF2 body as well. You can get it for €180 new from the UK on ebay or €150 from Asia (unkitted).

The P20 is €300 there second-hand which isn't too bad, although it goes for €250 on adverts.ie.
