when cows are calving, do you always leave lights on or turn off.

even after if they have calved, do you still leave the lights on for a few days after?

can bright lights damage a new born calf's eyes??

we have a couple of switchs for the sheds. we leave on either 2 lights over the feed passage at night or else either 2 lights in cubcile house. The ones in the feed passge throw light into the calving pens, while the ones in teh cublice house can throw light into the beeding areas. We only turn on all teh lights if we are putting the cows when its dark of when we are chcking them or calving at night
