If the weather is fine then Crookhaven is great, near barleycove beach and one of nicest places in Ireland. Around clonakilty also very nice. You would probably need to let people know a little more info as to what your hoping to do for the week. Is scenery / access to shops / nightlife / restraunts / mountains / seaside a priority.

Recently stayed in Sean ogs cottages in gorey , very nice. Only 50 euro per night for the house.
