Can't use my Laser card on Aer Lingus when departing from USA

    I'm trying to book a flight to bring my US girlfriend over to Ireland for a few weeks and because she departs from the US, Aer Lingus shows me the prices in Dollars and then upon payment only shows me Visa/American Express etc. as payment options.

    Is there any way to override this and book in Euro with my Laser like I would if I was booking a flight to go there?

    Apparently only flights originating in Ireland allow you to use a Laser card. :/

    try ebookers.ie as they advertise that they take Laser cards and for a random one way from USA -> Dublin in 2 weeks their prices seem very reasonable (366 with Us Airways and 400odd with air lingus)

    I though Laser cards were to be done away with in 2012, I'm with Bank of Ireland and got a Visa Debit during the summer. Laser Cards were good for nothing and could be hardly ever used online.

    I'm with BOI too, I suppose I should make enquiries about replacing it because it really is terrible for online.
