Getting carried away with myself?

I have been seeing some for a couple of weeks since before Christmas so probably close to a month now. We have just spent most of the weekend together and I had such a lovely time. It has just hit me that I am totally smitten, butterflies in the tummy, randomly find myself thinking about him and smiling all day.

At the same time I feel like a bit of a fool, I am 31 one years old and feels like I'm having a massive teenage crush. It seems so immature.

Am I very stupid to be feeling like this?

Be happy for what you feel. Ain't no age limits for those feelings. Just be glad he feels the same way. Nothing worse than feeling like that for someone who doesn't feel the same :(

I'm not really sure, I hope so. I'm not sure that men get the whole butterfly thing though do they?

I am having the exact same experience OP, we have been together just over two months and it really has been a whirlwind. I know that he feels the same way so I suppose the best thing to do is just enjoy it.

I have to say I don't really have any butterfly feelings, just a lovely warm feeling of happiness. It's really great.

eh depends. probably not in the same way as women do. but for us we tend to get a high about seeing the girl and cant get enough of her and want to see and speak to her all the time. i guess the best way of describing it is, the right one makes every day brighter and happier than before. so as the rest said, just enjoy it, life is short and moments like this are there to be enjoyed ;)

OP I got butterflys the first time I saw my fella only they weren't in my belly :D WAHAY! LOL, but seriously I felt really strongly for my fella very quickly. We're together over 6 years now and we're getting married next year. I say, don't question these emotions (too much), enjoy them!

Yep what he said and sometimes we see the girl in other girls too as weird as it sounds.
