Anyone on here have any experience of Fulcrum Racing Quattro wheelset?
Are they a worthy upgrade on your usual ~€1000 bike's stock wheels?

Not sure about them but if they are anything like the racing threes, then it's two thumbs up from me.

Apparently there is a cx version that feature better hub bearing seals that are otherwise identical..

They seem like excellent value in bike24.com at €269.90 I have received orders from these guys in less than five days ..great service:D

That's a really good price! I can smell a purchase in the offing.

Seriously considering going for a set of these. One thing that got my attention on the Fact Sheet:

"The included quick releases are not suitable for full carbon drop-outs! ".

What does this mean ?. Are they suitable for a carbon frame ?

Trying to justify it myself or may hold out to see if the Shimano RS80 C24s become available at as good a price they were going for last summer.

Other option I'm considering are from wheelsmith.co.uk Race23s Lumen posted a link about them a few days ago and they've really caught my eye. Serious value for money probably a better investment in the long run. 1440grams for £450. They do a version with different spokes for £395 don't give a weight but I assume they are only marginaly heavier.

They mention about discounts for bulk orders wonder how many you would need and could I get enough interest here to do one?

The wheels are, but the quick release isn't.

You could just throw away the quick release that comes with them and used the one from your old wheels.
