This is a typical speed that we have to put up with on what is supposed to be a 7mb line. I've tested the router on another line an its fine so thats not the problem. Ive even changed the passwords in case of hacking and no luck.

The speeds will return to normal after 1 am which is useless to us.

Any Vodafone reps here that could run a check on the line? And what details will i need to give you?

Is that test when connected by cable or by wireless. If by wireless try one using a cable, wireless is susceptible to RF interference.

Wired or wireless makes no difference
