Roof repair

Hi anyone recommend a reputable tradesman -kildare west Dublin to fix a roof on a semi - not sure if it's a gutter r roof issue - damp patches on back room wall and ceiling and seems to be spreading to other rooms upstairs. Appreciate any n all replies

Just want to advise you of things to watch out for when selecting a roofer.

Have a look at their van / truck
If there is any reference to the golden pages
or
If there are both northside and southside landline numbers displayed
or
If the phone number begins with (085)

You might want to look elsewhere

What kind of bull s**t advise is that to give? I have an 085 number so your telling me I shouldn't be in business because of that?

hi galway dude. please don't take offence. I have dealt with a lot of 'roofers' in the dublin area. there is a pattern amongst the less than scrupulous ones. I am not in any way including you or your line of business in that. same as I am not including everyone who advertises in the golden pages. Your particular service provider, meteor, just happens to be a pattern modus operandii amongst these people - not you. fact, not 'bulls**t'

what are you on about now? Mate if you are kinda sceptical.. that's your problem. my posts were in the interests of giving some advice to those who care to listen and consider it. I've nothing to gain by posting this advice.. in fact I m prejudicing myself. This really is ridiculous.
Are you suggesting that there is a union of dodgy roofers who are identifiable by having both north side and southside dublin numbers, use Meteor and are in the golden pages?
