    Does anyone know a shop to buy this new knife in dublin? Also do we feel it is a good diving knife and if not what is?

    a shears is best for cutting fishing net or something like it..

    Surgical sissors as mentioned, buy a few as you will lose them and they are pretty cheap. Available in most chemists or first aid suppliers.
    I also use safety knives which have a hook shape so you can't puncture you or your drysuit.:eek:
    The big pointy foot long sabres that you see strapped to peoples legs are o.k if you are an extra in a James Bond movie:cool:
