I'm looking for a frame suitable for Audax i.e. relaxed geometry.

    I would like the following

    - Size 58cm
    - Steel
    - Ability to take 28mm tires + full mud guards
    - Uses road calipers (i.e. no cantilever / v brakes).

Please let me know if you have one for sale.

    Thanks!

    hi
I dont have anything for sale but I have been looking into getting an audax frame as a winter trainer as i am sick of having to clean my bike which wont take mudguards. Kinesis do a nice alu frameset for about 300e. Lots of custom frame builders in the uk who make lovely steel machines like Brian Rourke, robin mather, chas roberts etc.

    Hi Leftbank,

Do you have an interest in 'vintage' steel bikes?

I have a 1970's 531 Raleigh (with Campag drop puts) which might suit your requirements.

    Please see: http://www.flickr.com/photos/66347375@N02/

The bike is 22.5", has mudguard clearance, eyelets and is presently fitted with 28's. It has a long seat post and stem which are suitable for the taller rider. I can offer choice in terms of selling the frame or with parts. Built up the bike is coming in at 22ilbs.

Enjoy the search and hope the pics are of interest,

    Brendan
