ford focus 2004

hi , looking to get a copy of owners manual for 2004 ford focus 1.6 ghia automatic saloon , if not could some lend me one and i will scan the important pages myself , ? some lights have come on the dashboard and i do not know what the mean,, i have down loaded from the we , but the info is for cars sold in the usa, and the symbols do match my car, can anyone tell me what the light just below the temperture read out means see photos of my dashboard thanks everyone

Here is a PDF of a focus manual. I'm not sure what that warning light is, i have a 04 focus ghia as well. I will check my manual in a bit and get back to you!

It looks like it might be the water reservoir for the windscreen washers being nearly empty?

Have you checked that recently?

The owners manuals for some Ford are available to download via ford.ie. I just looked and the MK1 Focus does not seem to be on the list though. The more modern cars do seem to be available via PDF

Lads is there much work involved in replacing the bulbs that light up the speedometer on the focus? Only one of mine is working so when driving at night i cant see how much fuel i have and struggle to see my speed. Can see my revs though

It's straight forward enough to do. There are 4 screws holding on the surround, and another few on the clocks themselves. Once removed you will see 5 or 6 twist out type bulb holders.




They use the T5 bulb type. Get the smd (led) type they are brighter and will last a hell of a lot longer than the standard ones.

thanks antoswords you spot on it was for the windscreen water level, , ? would anyone have the ford service manual for the 2004 focus, i have the haynes book, but the ford service manual would be great i will have to start servicing the car my self, one job i will have to let the professionals do is the timing belt replacement any idea of the cost involved , as it needs to be done right 80000 miles on the clock , any other info you think i should have ,

allso what do you all thing that under the motoring tread that sub treads of car makers nissan, bmw, audi , ford with another sub tread for the model like the focus, or mondeo , or transit could be set up,it would make it easy to get info on the car you own or a car you would be thinking of buying
