The Law Soc is a student society for law students (and others) so I don't think it'd be the best place to get advice. I think you might be better off with the Free Legal Advice Clinic, who operate clinics in TCD (keep an eye out for posters around the place). I'm sure there is crossover between the two as law students probably help out with FLAC, but they'd be your best bet as a first port of call.
