Should I tell them I was accepted before

I applied for a masters programme two years ago and got accepted. However, I became so anxious about the cost that I deferred. Then when it came time to decide whether or not to do it the following year (last year), I turned it down. Part of that was because of money and I let people influence my decision. This year, however, I'm applying again with the determination to do it. I just worry that if I mention I applied before, it will influence their decision on whether or not to accept me this time around, in a bad way. Am I being paranoid or should I not mention that I've done it before?
