    Hi lads,

Just received a small update this morning about 23Mb, wondering does anyone know what it's for, new kernel update or something???

Hopefully it'll fix the issues I was having since updating to 4.1.2.

    Cheers lads

Did you get the update to stop sudden death yet?

    Could be that.

Quick google says it fixes the sudden death issue. Here's hoping it fixes the autocorrect keyboard issue too.

Cheers for that lad, hoping the next update won't cause me anymore reboots or sluggishness...

Did you factory reset after the update? I know it's a pain but it does work.

What network are you? Cause I have no update available.

Ye after the 4.1.2 update I got fed up with it so had to factory reset it, but was still finding it laggy, haven't had the reboots since resetting it!

I'm on emobile, but using the btu csc, so getting updates as they are released to unlocked UK galaxy s3's.

Wondering if this update will affect the battery life also???

Ah I see. Meteor aren't releasing it til the end of the month which is a pain. I haven't found it laggy since I got my update, but the goddamn keyboard change pissed me off to no end. I mean why remove the auto-correct, next word prediction, etc settings? Utter fail, I've changed keyboard until they fix it.

It might do, although I got nearly 2 days off my last charge which had heavy data/Facebook usage and heavy text usage (a good 250 texts).
