    so could it be correct of my mate thinking a 1.7 swift has been classified as an acceptable calibre for deer shooting??
    id be in the mindset of that being a SWIFT no...

    i'llllll just be hittin the ole dusty trail :pac:

    .17 Swift? Obscure wildcat? .220 Swift is certainly deer legal however.

    A .22 swift was always deer legal although not many had them licensed. U must just have a suitable brand of 60gr ammo that will be over the min limit.

    Not all swifts will group 60gr though.
