Recovery Drinks/Food

    I know this has been asked before ,but has anyone come across any new recovery products lately that they have found beneficial. I train early in the morning before work and add protein powder to my porridge etc...After races I use 2:1 recovery shakes ( like chocolate ones) .I eat the usual proper amounts of fish , turkey ,chicken, tuna ,red meat etc.... during the week but find it hard to eat solids after a hard training session or race.
