Originallyp osted in the county forum, but might have more luck here.
Would anyone have any idea who I should contact to gain access to their site and the building? We're using it as a basis for a project and getting access to the interior would be helpful.

Howard Holdings own it, but I believe they no longer exit. With all the danger signs about the place I'd imagine it is abandoned legally.

Id say defo chance the Convent.. If you could track down Sister Betty she might be able to help you out.. You could defo gain access otherways like the above says.

Please don't encourage trespass on any property. Howard Holdings do exist and are subject to NAMA so if they do own it then there is likely due process going on. Above post edited.

We met the caretaker for the Building when we were down there during the week and he showed us around. It's quite badly decayed inside. The old red brick part is still structurally sound but the other parts are suffering badly from woodrot, I nearly went through one floorboard. I'll post a few pictures later.

Glad ye got in to see it. A shame to hear it has gone into despair...Twas a great building in the day and more a shame to think that Star of the sea were in prefabs crying out for a school and this was left to decay shame shame. Would love to see the pictures
