Beko oven tripping out

    Hi all,

We've a Beko DC543 oven which until now has been working fine. This evening though it's tripped out and I see that 2 of the control knobs on the front panel have come loose. Not sure how - am pretty certain that I didn't hit them or anything. I've never tried to repair an oven before - is this something that can be done myself? If not, any recommendations on who would repair this?

    Thanks!

Did any water spill near the loose knobs? But probably an element.what are you trying to switch on when it trips?oven or hob

Everything turned off and it keeps tripping out. The only one that might be still turned on is the knob that's come loose (for one of the hob rings) and that's just turning freely. Am pretty sure that there was no water involved - the grill was the only thing on so there was no water nearby at the time.

Have put in a call for a repair guy - not comfortable opening things up that are hard-wired in to the mains....
