I'm wondering if anyone could tell me from their experience of weddings in registry office in Dublin - did the couple get a musician or just play a cd?

    Thanks alot

Either is appropriate but live music can really add to the ambience. Especially because the opportunities to play music during a ceremony can be quite limited and happen quite quickly, some couples prefer to leave that responsibility of timing to a pro!

CD can be just as lovely though if you can edit your songs and have somebody really on the ball with stopping and starting! :)
