oil seed rape

    hello lads im just wondering can anyone give me some help indentifing oil seed rape when planted in a field and were would i find such a crop???? and how big of a problem wood pigeons can be on the crop??? thanks

    At this time of year the plants will be small green plants a little like young cabbage to my eye anyways. The easiest time to identify it is next April or so when it comes into a bright yellow bloom. I would think you have surely seen this before.

    if you are looking at the crop the oldest leaves will be kidney shaped.pigeons can be a serious problem if they get to start grazing the crop. in a year like this when crop is small they can decimate it
