Hi, I am just wondering if you need to do an undergraduate psychology degree in order to apply for the postgraduate clinical psychology degree? I am currently studying OT. Also, is this programme available in many universities? I know there is a 3 year course in NUIG.

    Thank you :)

AFAIK you not only need to complete an accredited undergraduate degree in psychology (high 2.1 preferably a 1.1), a Masters (in a relevant area of psychology) and then you would be looking at 3-5 years working as either an assistant psychologist (some university's criteria are very strict) or some other very similar position (with lots of CPD) before even being considered.
I would recommend checking out http://www.psychologicalsociety.ie/ for more information and good luck on whatever you decide to do!
