Hi, I recently finished college and start a new job in marketing. One thing I've noticed about the job since starting is how poor my communication skills (writing in particular) is.

Has anyone ever felt the same when working?

Does anyone have any p advice for how I could improve my writing skills?

It's probably just an attention to detail issue. There are a number of issues with the couple of lines you have posted above. Another idea would be to join some sort of writing club.

No instant answer here other than hard work:

    (1) Read more:

    Books to expand your vocabulary.
Marketing/Advertising copy from your industry to understand industry norms.

    (2) Peer Review

If you are prone to errors, get a peer to proof read copy and communications before releasing it.
Also Spell Checker and Grammar Checker in MS word are your friends.

    (3) Mentor

Find the best communicator in the company.
Ask him/her if they will mentor you.
