hi there. i was wondering if any goose decoys will do to bring in geese. all i can seem to get are canadian goose ones. not a grey lag to be found. also if anyone know where i can get some i would be very thankful

When living abroad, to bring them in, used to use dirt cheap home made ones from a bit of dowel or bamboo stuck in the ground at an angle. with plastic shop bags tied to them.

Mention it to folks and usually get a strange look, but they are cheap, quick to put out and they WORK

Exactly like the ones in the bottom photo in the link below, not tried the middle one but bet it would work well too.

Minimum 50 scattered around with one or two shop bought ones on a pole as if landing, like the top photos.

Go back 200 yards and you would swear they were real birds on the ground.
